Your photos stay yours.

Looma is a local desktop photo review application. It does not require an account and does not upload your photos or sync them to a cloud service.

Folders and image data

When you choose a folder, Looma reads supported images in that folder and, if enabled, its subfolders. The app stores file paths, names, dates, dimensions, sizes, format information, and favorite status in a local index. It also creates local thumbnails and display previews. Original files remain in your chosen folder until you move them to the system Trash.

Deletion and Undo

When you move an image to Trash, the system receives the original file. Looma keeps a temporary local copy to make Undo possible. These copies are removed after 24 hours when Looma next starts, another image is deleted, or a scan runs. You can also manage files through your operating system's Trash.

Preferences

Layout, scanning, deletion confirmation, language, and review prompt preferences are stored locally on your device. Looma does not collect account information, usage analytics, or advertising identifiers.

External links

If you choose to rate Looma or contact support, your device opens Microsoft Store or your email application. Those services have their own privacy practices. Looma does not send your photo content to them.
